Daniele Balsyte is a Lithuanian-born, UK-based visual artist currently residing in London. She graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2024, where her focus shifted to social documentary photography. That same year, she was nominated for the notable Platform Graduate Award and is currently showcasing her project, The Silent Noise of Everything in Between, at Aspex Gallery in Portsmouth. This body of work confronts the genocide of the Palestinian people, exploring themes of oppression, grief, and resilience through both a deeply personal and political lens.

Daniele’s work delves into socio-political issues with a particular emphasis on the theme of visibility. She is captivated by what remains unseen or deliberately ignored, especially regarding marginalized, oppressed, or socially excluded groups. Through her deeply moving art, Daniele invites viewers to confront uncomfortable truths about societal structures and their profound impact on individuals and society as a whole.
