Traces of Being
Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth, UK
12th March, 2025 - 1st June, 2025

Between 2024 and 2025, I took part in the Aspire Curatorial Masterclass at Aspex Gallery in Portsmouth, a program dedicated to supporting emerging curators and new approaches to contemporary art.

Traces of Being brings together the work of 11 artists, each at a different stage in their practice, weaving stories through paint, fiber, film, and form. The exhibition explores memory, identity, and transformation—whispers of history, echoes of love, and the ever-changing landscapes of self and place.

For this exhibition, I selected three photographs and placed them on window panels, allowing light and space to interact with the images, shaping how they are seen and experienced.

Pirmas Susitikimas: Jaunųjų Menininkiu Paroda (eng. First Meeting: Young Women Artists’ Exhibition)
Bendra Buitis 22, Vilnius, Lithuania
7 December, 2024

First Meeting brought together emerging women artists, creating a space for dialogue on gender, creativity, and the challenges women face in the art world. Through painting, ceramics, and installation, the exhibition explored themes of identity, expression, and societal constraints.

For my first exhibition in Lithuania, I presented 10 Minutes, a minimalist sound and time installation reflecting on the cyclical nature of violence against women.

COLONY, Platform Graduate Award
Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth
25 October, 2024 - 12 January, 2025

in 2024 I was nominated for the Platform Graduate Award, with my work showcased in the annual exhibition highlighting emerging talent from South East England. COLONY explored themes of ecological and societal structures, questioning systems of power, belonging, and displacement.

For this exhibition, I presented The Silent Noise of Everything in Between, a project reflecting on genocidal grief, colonial violence, and collective trauma. Through layered visual narratives, I invited audiences to engage both physically and emotionally with the work.

Photo Fringe Showcase
Eldon Building, Portsmouth

As part of the Photo Fringe Festival, this showcase featured works by emerging photographers exploring diverse narratives and critical social themes.

I presented The Silent Noise of Everything in Between, a project reflecting on genocidal grief and colonial violence.

Obscure Objects of Desire
Historic Dockyard, Portsmouth
25-28 April, 2024

As part of an open call for a group exhibition by second-year photography students from the University of Portsmouth, Obscure Objects of Desire explored the complex relationships between identity, material culture, and desire. I showcased a photograph of the sea, which later became part of The Silent Noise of Everything in Between.
